Azeloglycine

Azeloglycin® has the efficacy of azelaic acid with the moisturising power of glycine.

Azeloglycine® is the result of the acylation reaction between the azelaic acid and glycine.
- Azelaic acid is used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in the topical therapy of acne and rosacea.
- Azelaic acid is a natural substance found in wheat, rye and barley.
- Azelaic acid is used to treat mild to moderate acne because the active ingredient clears the pores and inhibits bacterial growth on the skin - one of the causes of acne.

Antibacterial effect:

Inhibits bacterial growth in the hair follicle (Propionibacterium Acnes and Staphylococcus Epidermidis). Keratolytic & comedolytic action: Normalises growth disorders of the skin cells that form the hair follicle.

Sebostatic effect:

Stops the formation of 5-alpha-reductase, has a balancing effect on oily facial and scalp skin and a positive effect on acne and constitutional hair loss.

Catches free radicals

Catches free radicals and therefore counteracts inflammation.

Prevents the formation of tyrosinase

Reduces excessive skin pigmentation.

Also for darker-skinned patients

Particularly suitable for darker-skinned patients whose acne has left dark spots or who suffer from hormone spots (melasma).

Keratolytic & comedolytic effect:

Vitamin E:

is known for its antioxidant properties. Topical vitamin E has been shown to have a very positive effect on the skin.

Glycerine:

Glycerin improves the appearance of the skin. Glycerin reduces spots and blemishes, soothes the skin, maintains water balance and improves the appearance of the skin. It can combat the effects of skin conditions such as psoriasis.
It also has an anti-ageing effect: glycerine makes the skin look much younger and fresher and can reduce wrinkles.

I use the gel now since August 2017 in the morning and in the evening and am extremely satisfied with it. Since I have rosacea on my forehead and both cheeks, which is rather dry on the one hand and sheds a bit, reddening on the other and is prone to pustules, I can cope better with a gel texture than with a cream. Of course, the gel can not cure the rosacea or reduce the enlarged capillaries, but it keeps my redness very well in check, soothes and cools the skin. My hypersensitive rosacea finds the gel extremely pleasant and tolerates it without any visible side effects. I also think that the contained azelaic acid (0.9%) has a positive effect on the pimples and pustules. As a make-up basis, I also find the gel very suitable, as the make-up on the gel texture does not "float". In addition, I can say that the gel quickly penetrates the skin and lasts a pack for a long time. With me just under 5 months with twice application per day. So far, the best that I've found so far for my rosacea and I've already tried a lot. From me absolute buy recommendation in rosacea. It's worth a try :)

I bought this product without much expectations. After initially irregular use (alternating with a BPO cream only once or twice a day once a day), I started to use the gel twice a day (morning and evening) with really good results. I have combination skin, which, depending on the cycle, occasionally tends to small superficial white pimples, especially around the cheeks. The gel is less aggressive than the BPO cream and causes no dryness, scaling or irritation. Sprouting pimples and reddish spots cancel out overnight. Redness is reduced over a large area. Meanwhile, the gel is firmly integrated into my evening (vitamin C serum, Q10 serum, marula oil and retinol, ideal derm gel) and morning routine (vitamin C serum, Q10 serum, ideal derm gel, sunscreen).
I will definitely buy more!

The gel is very pleasant on the skin. My redness was already toned down, the skin does not stretch even though it is a gel. It smells quite pleasant but not intrusive. My forehead is no longer greasy and my cheeks are not dry anymore.

For about 2 years I always have mild acne, so every time to go to dermatologist is too stupid (waiting times), so I ordered the gel. Already after 2 days (lubricate twice a day) my skin became visible immediately.

Apply on face and neck gently massaging with fingertips until it is completely absorbed. Can be applied as makeup base. Apply once or twice daily (morning and night).
