Men

Masculine skin is physiologically very different to feminine skin.

It's thicker, produces more sebum, and is richer in collagen. This makes the wrinkles appear later, but faster and deeper.
The worst attack on the skin is shaving. A shave damages the skin and can trigger many skin problems like Blemishes, dryness, external sensitivity, etc.
Another type of attack on the skin is the lifestyle (alcohol, nicotine, stress, lack of sleep) and environmental influences (temperature, pollutants, etc.).

Men's skin has extraordinary natural qualities to protect itself more effectively against the external environment, and it is more resistant to the natural deterioration caused by age.
Therefore, under normal conditions, men's skin care simply requires very basic treatment, aimed at maintaining these qualities.

ADVANTAGES OF MEN'S SKIN AS OPPOSED TO WOMEN'S SKIN
The masculine epidermis is 30% thicker and 20% more keratinized. It has a greater capacity to remain hydrated and to protect itself and prevent the entry of aggressive external substance.
Greater microvascularization.
Better level of oxygenation and cell respiration.
Greater collagen content, with a more consistent fibre network. Firmer skin, that takes longer to wrinkle.

DISADVANTAGES OF MEN'S SKIN AS OPPOSED TO WOMEN'S SKIN
The weak point in men's skin, its Achilles Heel, is that, once the ageing process starts, it develops at an accelerated pace. Also, men's skin produces 75% more sebaceous secretions than women's skin, and this means a greater tendency of shiny skin and impurities.
For these reasons, it is essential that men keep their skin in good aesthetical and hygienic conditions, by following basic, daily care routines that can significantly delay the appearance of signs of ageing.
